so i just got me an inspire 4G as a personal phone, had a work one already, and i noticed that my power button i flush with the rest of the phone. the work one, that I've had since the phone came out, the button is slightly higher and i can feel it when running my finger across the surface of the top of the phone. i noticed because i had my work phone in the speck candy shell for the phone and the power button worked fine. i then put the candy shell on my new one and i have to really push the power button part of the case for the phone to react. i work at AT&T and so i checked the other phones we had in stock and all the buttons seemed to be flush with the phone, so i didn't exchange it.

anyone else's power button kinda flush with the rest of the phone?

yeah. mine seems to be flush ever since i got the phone. never really noticed it and dont really care :)

mines flush also. I remember Phil stating in one his video reveiws that this was common thing that happens with HTC devices. IMO if it works dont worrie about it.;)

I wouldn't say mine's completely flush, but it's only raised a sliver.

well mine is completely flush..but if im not the only one, i guess i wont sweat it, again i checked all the other stock we had and it looks to me thats how they are coming.
