Camera makes a click type noise when auto focusing and when closing the camera

I have it set up to make a noise every time I press a button, app,... Sometimes it makes the normal noise at the correct decibel, other times it's really quiet. It does it randomly with no rhyme or reason.
Battery is so/so but I knew about that before I bought it. I read about a delayed software update that is suppose to help with this among other things.
Also, I read somewhere that there may be a promotion on the Thunderbolt soon. Possibly further discounted or even free. I just bought it at Best Buy. If the price gets lowered within 30 days will Best Buy honor the lower price with their price guarantee? Just curious if the guarantee works with cell phones as well.
