Congrats, you have a very capable gizmo there.

If I was given an Iphone FOC, I`d sell it ..just not on par at all to my Note 3.My wife bought me the latest Ipod for Christmas mainly to use with my Pioneer Headunit in my car and I just can`t get used to IOS7 at all....its just not easy to use and is too restrictive as regards pairing via bluetooth with anything other than Apple devices whereas my Note3,S3 and HTC One will connect to and play virtually any video or music format...Android FTW!
With all due respect, I call bunk on this. IOS has many faults, but restricting bluetooth pairing to Apple devices isn't one of them. Pairing with bluetooth headsets for example) or the audio system on my car was easy and worked great.

My smartphone NEEDS are simple. As long as I have polish in my apps I'm pretty set. Been there and done that with the customizing-the-phone thing.

Mine first and foremost is it being a phone. Loud with good call quality through BT. It also needs to last all day without having to rip out a charger or spare battery and the N3 does this. Polish in apps I agree with but I like having control over what and how my phone looks and works as opposed to being locked down to what the manufacturer gives me.

Don't get me wrong. Apple makes great quality products that not only look good but work out-of-the-box. I've pondered the iPhone here and there honestly but man, pulling out a magnifying glass to read flipboard would give me a headache.

Oh, it's weird. I've had a Note 3 and a bunch of other android phones but the iPhone's screen size is fine for me. I have two LTE iPads if I want a big screen experience.

I just purchased my Note 3 on Thursday and absolutely love it. I'm coming from a BlackBerry Z10 so this is a big upgrade for me. I was going to wait for the S5 but the specs are basically the same. A extra 1 GB of ram was more important to me then the .2 GHZ more on the processor of the S5.

Sorry, let me refine...I can pair my Note 3,S3,Note 10.1 and HTC one to any device I own(including my wifes Iphone and MacbookPro) but I am unable to send files, music or Photos to the IOS devices from my Android phones or tablet or vice versa.I can send all files and pics between my Android gear no problem.

When I had the iPhone 4 and 4s they would always see my Blutooth headset and speakers but would always have to go through the steps to rerecognize and reconnect with them. Always a PIA, then when I switched to the s3 and now the n3 I've never had any problems, sees everything and instantly connects.
