they keybaord vibrate is awsome its nice and lite, its just enough to feel it but the ringer vibration is allot stronger and I have it at work sitting on the back or kickstand and I think the guy in the next office can hear it vibrate. LOL

The vibrate in the Evo reminds me of the Moment. Kind of a weird wobble action going on inside, those who have used both, know what I am talking about. Def stronger than a Hero.

The keyboard vibrate on nexus is violent lol... its like getting shock sometimes lol. EVO is very suttle in comparison, but still has a nice feel to it.

Yeah i really like my pre too. Well actually the WebOS. i always wanted a phone i liked OS wise but with a big screen. It would be awesome to have an Evo speced phone but with WebOS and the Iphone apps. Wishful thinking. but we can dream.

This is me. While I was lucky to avoid the Oreoing, dead pixels, etc. hardware problems with my launch week Pre, I am so effing fed up with the Too Many Cards errors and choking, lagging performance with only one app open, I'm counting down until June 6th to get an EVO. When HTC was sniffing around buying Palm, I was like you, hopeful that a webOS-powered "EVO wOS" would be in the offing, but with HP apparently only interested in making a tablet and not even a hint of a rumor of a new handset, I'm outta there. It's a crying shame, but it does me no good to cling to the past when I know there is no future for Palm. It couldn't kill the iPhone, so it's up to the Droid Army to take down the Thing From Cupertino.

EVo default music player does not allow landscape mode for some reason...But It does however have lockscreen playback controls for music being played. SO if you thought about playing music while your kickstand is down.. with the default app it is not possible!

So if you are listening to music w/the def. app, & turn it on its side, it just stops functioning? Or does the layout simply not switch & you have to turn your head to see the controls?

Does it play .ogg files?

Good to hear there's no scratches yet, I've been going back and forth about getting a screen protector or not. I think I might just for the extra added protection.

Personally, I don't like screen protectors like Zagg, etc. They totally change the feel of the glass and makes it feel cheaper I think. I ordered an HTC Vertical Pouch with soft interior which will protect it when it's in my pocket.

This is the one I ordered...it's out of stock now.

I ordered the screen protectors from Sedio, and they worked very well, didn't feel too different, some other ones, felt very different.. The HTC pouch you linked too, looks very nice.

Thank you so much for all the stuff and the included Screen protector was definitely a surprise. I have started a new thread regarding these accessories so that I can keep all the questions related to the accessories in that thread.
