I literally just called about two dozen best buys in the chicagoland area, no dice. You sir, are a lucky lucky man.

that store for whatever reason is not selling it anymore...called and confirmed

while me and OP were at VZW the rep sounded confident it could be another week minimum...but who knows....he too had ordered his phone and waiting for it....Looks like me and OP have the first couple vzwGNex's in the nation.

Wait, so he knew he was selling it before the actual release date? He must really not like his job.

This tempts me to try my local BB but I'd feel really bad if some clueless employee sold it to me and got fired, so I'll just wait.

The vzw rep isnt the one who sold it. They can sell accessories now just not the phone.
