I got the extended battery from the VZW store right after we bought this at BB...you honestly cant even tell def worth the $50 for the extra usage. Sean is going to upload pix of it

What happens to NFC when u swap out the battery?

isnt the NFC chip inside the battery? Does the extended battery have NFC in it?

and if the extended battery doesnt add any thickness then why does it come with a new door?

Sure looks like it has the NFC on the battery label. Good way for Samsung to make sure you only get their brand of battery.

I had a TB

it is thinner then the TB (tb with stock battery)
it is way way lighter

i love the size. it works great for me.
it's super clean looking. and ICS is a dream

did you have to buy the gnex retail? if so about how much ?
I have a tbolt too and im trying to ditch the buggy thing but im still on contract with it.

No, no, they were right. That store may lose it's ability to sell future Verizon phones. And it's very likely that people will get fired. That wasn't supposed to happen, there were even several employee news posts telling us that we DO NOT have a date, and we can not disclose inventory or etc to people who ask. Whatever the reason for the delay, there /is/ a delay and the phones can not legally be sold by Best Buy yet.

Did you install the battery right there in the VZW store? Would have loved the look on the clerks face when they saw the GN.

I would have looked around a little, than asked why don't you have a GN out? Haha.

Walked into my local vzw reseller today that i pretty much have been goin to every day for the past 2 weeks and the dude that works there told me "man if i had em, I for sure would work out a deal for ya" and he knows its been pushed back.

I doubt anyone gets fired...these were sold out of negligence, not disregard for company/VZW policy. This kind of stuff happens. The district mobile managers found out, told them not to sell, and that was probably that. At least from the guy I talked to who accidentally sold one, it was an honest mistake. Best Buy clearly did not keep themselves in the loop well enough on the delay, and as a result, some devices got sold. I don't think anyone is losing their job because of it.

I was in the Verizon store today & was told they will be on sale the 15th of December.. Only 4 days away.. Not that big a deal to wait 4 days.. I asked if he was sure & he said yes 100% well be available fir purchase on the 15th.. I know where I well be 4 days from now....

Im a tbolt owner too, had a good run with mine, but ive always wanted dual core and a nexus. Im also a huge fan of samoled screens

I agree. Thursday would be nice. I love the GSM version but it's not my primary phone and, I haven't got a chance to utilize it to the fullest like I want to.
