Got tablet?

If the N7 had the solid build of the Kindle, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

The stylus needs to make a comeback :D

Yea, I don't think the stylus is for everyone. I could use it. I'm seriously deleting all these paper notes in my life. LOL.

I got my hands on one of the new Note 10.1 today. Omg... I was pretty impressed to say the least. It's just too big for me. I like a 7 inch tab. But it is smoooooothe now.

OG kindle fire.

In the house is-
Maxx W/lapdock100
Stratosphere
iP4S
2 Kindle Fire's

No desire for a Nexus7 yet. Amazon prime keeps me satisfied with the Fire and tethering with the Maxx via foxfi ks awesome.

So Ive been looking at tablets and just curious...what is the thought on the 7" vs. the 10" tablets, besides the obvious. How do you use yours? I am trying to justify getting one...

I own the Note 10.1 and let me just say, the stylus IS BACK! Only now it's way better than past incarnations. This tablet is awesome and i can personally vouch that the reviews were overly harsh on some of these sites. This thing is a top of the line tablet even without the stylus. Then you throw in that functionality and it becomes an amazing tool. I use it for school and other meetings that require a decent amount of note taking. It is a large screen, but that's why i bought a tab.

SO, I ordered a white Samsung Tab 2 (4G) yesterday for $99 bucks. Yes, I had to sign a 2 year contract for $10.00 a month. That's cool. I mean, what's 10 more when you're already paying for 3 smart phones and a dumb phone?
I'm excited about it. My Fire was good, but really reallllly not good for surfing and reading web content. Excellent E-reader.
Anyone here got a Tab2?

My MAXX and N7 go hand in hand as I travel for work and run into crappy connections all the time so use my phone for a hotspot.

Since we're all such Androidphiles here, it'd be interesting to see who has a tablet and what kind you have. They sorta run and in hand.. these phones and tablets... Apps/tethering, etc.
I am the proud owner of a Kindle Fire but I have to admit I'm lusting for a Nexus 7.

I have a Nexus 7 and a 4G Motorola Xoom. I mostly use my Xoom as a WiFi hotspot when I travel now, or give it to my wife to use when she travels.

Motorola Xoom 4G LTE bought March 2011 and still used every day as my primary device. I am running Team EOS nightly JB 4.1.1 and love this thing. I was thinking about picking up a MS Surface, but I am just so happy with this tablet.

I have a 32 gig Toshiba Thrive. I use it once I'm in the house and give my phone a rest. I use the "mysms" app to receive my texts on my tablet while I'm away from my phone so I can leave it around. I won my tablet at a Christmas party. I don't think if you have a great smartphone that you need a tablet so I probably would've never bought it on my own. On the contrary, I love it though.

I am REALLY happy with my Tab2. Perfect size. Works great. Great choice for mobility. I found an app, phone info, to turn off 4G when I want. REALLY saves battery. Thing will last two-three days now.
Also...in an amazing twist, a buddy of mine had a XOOM. He NEVER used he said. Still had wrapper on it. Sold it to me, with a fine case/stand for $95.00. That'll just be to leave around the living room. That was too much to resist. So, I think we're set on tablets now. lol.
Kindle Fires do NOT bounce. Even in a case. Mine fell from a shelf about 6 feet, apparantly hit just right on the corner and broke. It was hard throwing it away. Made me pay more attention to cases that don't protect the edges. I actually bought THIS case for my Tab2. Looks a lot more drop resistant.
