gps and CM RC7.2? it works, but doesn't track me as well...

Question, you guys having any gps issues? I'm on Cyanogenmod RC 7.2, Incredikernel, and when I go running on SPortyPal, it's not logging as many miles as I am putting in.
if you look at the maps, it has straight lines cutting through where I am running around curves, which means that the gps signal is dropping out at different points, etc.

It's like the gps is not pinging as often or as accurately? is that the right terminology?

anyone else having that problem?

that by the looks of it, i clearly cut through houses and lawns to run my route. but i didn't. so it shorts my mileage.

it properly tracks my running route.
and i am pretty certain this is pre-rooting.

I will try and run this route again tomorrow and collect the data from that.

could it have been that i set my min. cpu to 148? like, the phone was forgetting to ping the gps satellites? (or however it works?) the max was oc'ed, too, at 1113.

i have since set everything back to normal, min 422, max 998, ondemand governor. before it was one of the smartas ones.

let me know your thoughts, thanks for trying it out.

i will use 2 apps as well, to see if maybe it's the app...

Yep - I would definitely set the CPU back to normal.
