GPS icon will not go away

It's the Google Maps app...I disabled it, and the warning is gone

I went into my location settings and turned them back on. I then set the mode to Device Sensors Only (GPS only) mode. I turned it back off and it immediately changed the mode itself back to (location off) where as before it still had "high use" even when turned off. I haven't had the issue since.

Restart the phone..and gps icon will go away..I tried it on my Redmi note 4
