If this means that the GPS and Multitouch issus are resolved, I hope this means that the LTE version may be getting close!

I've heard that the new update (JSS15Q) should be rolling out and should resolves some issues. Some of you might have received it already if you can keep us all posted and see if you noticed any particular changes that would be great.

Just got my update and installed it. Seem to lock on to the SATs fast and now to take it for a drive after the battery builds up some...grandkids ran it down

I have 3 apps running the GPS data and seems rock solid even switching between them. THANK You Google!

Agreed. Been 2.5 hours of checking for gps to NOT connect, and it has connected to 3 apps every time.

While it's possible that there is interference, you don't need line of sight for GPS signal, so being indoors doesn't generally block the signal.

I am in NYC among lots of tall buildings, so maybe that's a factor as well.

The really serious problem with N7-2013 is corrupted NAND-FLASH which manifests itself as any of the problems you discuss plus spontaneous resets and reboots.
Why do you not discuss this issue? It is is literally epidemic in proportions.

The gps issue appears to be fix, but google maps doesn't seem to be able to pick up my location. Mapquest works and other gps apps do too, just not google maps.

Also 1 weather app cannot determine my gps location as well.

Edit: A factory reset solved the app issues. I unlocked and rooted at the same time since I was going to wipe my data anyways.

I had been experiencing GPS issues from the first day I bought the Nexus 7-2B16. I tried several things, but the GPS systematically stopped working eventually.

Today, I'm cautiously optimistic: Running OTA build JSS15Q, I drove to the airport (25 minutes, 30-some kilometers) then had the GPS running for another 30 minutes in flight, and finally drove back home. I did not experience any GPS problem. I'm going flying for longer tomorrow. I'll report my findings.

If this damning issue is finally fixed for good, I'll be very happy with my first-ever tablet (or "touchy" device of any kind!)

GPS wont work on subway,inside buildings, parking garage, elevator etc so you get the point??

My icon disappeared also. Did you find a solution?

The GPS still held and re-aquired rapidly as needed during a 45-minute flight. I'm pleased with the improvement. I wish everyone a prompt resolution.

Start a new thread on this. I'd like to hear what proof you found that the flash is getting corrupted...
