Does the mate 10 have one in the settings, as I find there is too much bass when listening to music on Spotify using Bluetooth headphones?

No that I can find, I suggest you get an app from the play store

Well you will be controlling the audio coming from the device so any music being played with have that effect. You won't be able to control Spotify directly
