Gray text on black background?

What was Google thinking? There's so many ICS screens that have gray text on a black background.. impossible to read in sunlight!

Looks cooler?

Does poorly in sunlight, though.....

yeah, it probably saves a little battery.. Not worth it to me. Too bad there's not color theme choices.

I don't know why no one has done this for ebooks. Obviously a darker black.

Easier in the eyes. Don't use your phone outside. Do outside things instead.

even in bright light, and not just outside..

A good example: try using voice commands to write an SMS message... Try being able to read the list of "possibilities" android gives you... Very, very hard to read.

I don't have grey on black there. Weird. Hmmmm.

that's weird.. Wonder if something's up with my setup.
