Great phone but I truly miss the 90hz refresh rate

I can tell the difference but it's not a deal breaker and not that big of a deal IMO. I'm pretty sure if it was on the Note 10 it would cost more and people would complain even more about the price. Samsung made the display for the 7 pro but it's cheaper because it lacks other features. Next year will probably be the year Samsung moves to 90hz on all their flagships now that the tech they produced is more widely used and cost won't be as much to manufacture.

I use 144hz monitors for gaming on my PC, I paid a small fortune for the parts to be able to do this but when I'm not gaming on it I run them at 60hz which to me makes hardly any difference, but noticable in gaming.

I don't use my phone for gaming at all so in my experience of higher refresh rates it makes no difference to me whatsoever and will not be on my list of cons while checking a phone out.

We are just so dang spoiled. A species who always want MORE MORE MORE. Soon enough, folks will be complaining how 90hz is not good enough

I really don't get this whole wanting a better camera. OnePlus is a flagship. I'm sure the difference isn't that much to give up 90hz.

I love my 7 Pro.

I love my Note 10+ too.

For me it's more than camera, which is still better on the Note. You look at the complete package the N10+ gives you for the price and I don't mind not having the 90hz. The 7 Pro 90hz can only get me so far without the features I use on the N10+

I love both also

Remember also - the higher the refresh rate, the higher the battery usage. And the screen is already the largest battery consumer.

True , good thing One plus gives option between 90htz and 60htz...but battery last a day on 90 htz

If it lasts a day with a lot of screen use at 90 Hz, it should last close to a day and a half at 60 Hz,

I love both or my N10+ and 1+7P. I can definitely see the difference of 90Hz refresh rate when scrolling on social media, forums, web browsing, etc. I can also see it in gaming like Gear.Club.

I never had any experience with 90Hz phone. The N10+ feels pretty fast to me. I can only imagine how much smother it would be with 90-120Hz

So I sold my OnePlus 7 pro for the note 10 mainly cause I'm going on a trip and wanted a better camera (even though the 7 pro has a decent one) but I absolutely miss the 90hz refresh rate. Every 2020 flagship should have that feature. Any former 7 pro users that miss it too?

Same! My 10+ screen seems a bit yellow compared to the OnePlus Pro 7. I have this phone at to brightest settings and it's still not as good as the OnePlus Pro 7.

That is so far from the truth. Anyone who used the 7 pro will tell you there's a noticeable difference. Hence why damn near everyone on YouTube who has reviewed the phone wishes the note had the feature.

I like watching youtube as much as most do, but I try to keep in mind that it's all about the money generated by views, and now ads.

Many if not most tech reviewers, print and electronic, just cut and paste the gobbledegook (talking points) from one another and rely on clickbait to get your attention.

They're in business to get your business.

Samsung made the screen this way for blue light filtering. Although there's also a setting for turning on blue light filtering.

Just cuz of this post, I went to a TMobile store to play with a OnePlus7 pro phone. Yes, my impression is that the screen is very responsive. But not a good enough reason to beat the Note 10+ in any meaningful way.

I don't know, even when I had the OnePlus 7 pro, never felt that big of a difference using that and my other Android phones or iPhone. May be my hands or eyes are not sensitive enough to recognize

Same here. I really just miss the faster fingerprint scanner and the volume rocker.
