Greetings my Android brethren, sorry I'm late to the party!

Hey folks! Right off the bat I apologize on 2 fronts:

1. I've already been a member for almost two full weeks - hope it's not too late to post here; I've been laser focused on mostly one forum (I'll let you guess which one) until I wandered in here today,
2. I've lurked off and on in several forums through the years but finally took the plunge here, in what looks to be the most active, vibrant Android community I've seen. Now I'm sorry that I waited so long!

My nonextensive smartphone history: Droid X --> Droid Razr Maxx HD --> Droid Turbo (now a proud 1-week owner). Love my phone, but respect to everyone here! I'm not a Motorola/Droid fanboy, uh... no, really... p I'm having a great time so far interacting, picking up some good tidbits, and chipping in where I can.

Thank you to all of the moderators and the whole Android Central team, you all make it happen! Now everyone let's chat, shall we!?!

Ha ha, nice. Well honestly, when I see that somehow I'm currently up there in top posters/thanked, I don't know how to feel. And I assume that those are referring to frequency (yikes!), but I'm not sure. Don't get me wrong, I've been having a great time here, but I'm afraid that I've been going too hard with this.

Case in point, in the last week I made a couple of mistakes when trying to explain things and actually gave some wrong info. Other posters noted it, then I added edits to clarify as needed asap. But kinda embarrassing. Also, I don't want to wear out my welcome already! So anyhoo, that's what I was referring to.

Double edged sword. I have a lot of posts, sure, but people still go over my posts with a fine tooth comb. Don't worry about making mistakes. We all make them. Like anything else, admit when you are wrong, and just be nice to everyone in the forums.

^^ Spoken like a true baus! I believe that's what I've done so far and it does feel good. Though admittedly, in going back and adding edits to my horribly wrong posts to lessen confusion, it was tempting to change up the original post but I held firm and did not, warts and all.
