Group messages are disappearing in Samsung Messages

Anyone else having issues with group (MMS) messages disappearing in the stock Samsung Messages app? I noticed it the other day, and figured maybe it had something to do with me swapping phone. Tonight I was chatting with a few friends and literally the history only goes back 5 minutes. Everything prior to that is gone (pics and texts) even though we've sent many messages over the course of the last hour.

I'm having no issues with 1 on 1 conversations, just group messages.
