grrrr 3g speeds

So just went out and bought a new 3vo all is great not dead pixels no dust and.slight tilt. But my 3g speeds are killing me I have tried everything even the "0" trick and I can't get above 124 kbs... Is it defective bad raidio I get great signal. Have an appointment at sprint tech today ... What do you guys think?

Did you update PRL and then Profile? Is your phone's EVDO Preferred Mode set to Automatic (dial ##3282# to check)?

yes an yes i took it to best buy and they said it can be anything but by data speeds in the area. but when i go to sprint to compare the speeds they have they are getting 500kpbs am i missing something or do i have a bad radio, oh an dsprint what touch it because i bought it from best buy so they said take it back there and have them replace the phone.

did you update to the new or latest 4G download? if so, there is your problem. otherwise, something is wrong.

(Solved) so after search of sites everywhere I figured the problem out. So sprint decided to slow certain cities 3g data speeds for the evolution 3d and guess what Spokane wa was one of them. So from the last prl update (50850 something like that) my data speeds were horrendous, so after extensive research I changed multiple prl to a previous prl 21081 and guess what !!!!! My speeds went from 128kb to 1.2. On high and average 800kbps or 500... Screw sprint I can't believe they did that but all good now

Yesterday morning at this time my 3G speeds were dismal after I had updated to the new PRL. Now that I reverted back they are getting closer to normal (see screen shot) . I realize that it is early on a Saturday morning but like I said, at this time yesterday it was crawling!
