GS3 Native Email Question

Hi. I'm brand new to this forum, and started using a GS3 today. I synced my existing email accounts with my new phone, and I was trying to figure out if there is a way to mark all emails as "read". I don't want to delete them from the phone, I just want to reset the new email counter to 0. Any and all help would be very much appreciated.

Put a check mark next to them then hit the button on the upper right, then hit mark as read.
