I switch too , if you buy straight talk from netstrada for almost 40% off then you got pretty great deal of savings comparing AT&T service

To get a Straight Talk At&t compatible sim card will cost you. Straight Talk doesn't sell them anymore and because of the supposed loophole of not getting an ETF when porting from At&t to Straight Talk At&t they are going for like $50-$75 on Ebay.

As long as the S3 is GSM, that model is AT&T anyways I believe - you should be golden!

Okay, so I can't afford this plan anymore and want to switch to straight talk. But I get conflicting answers everywhere I look.
I have an at&t galaxy s3
I bought an at&t compatible straight talk micro SIM card
DO I NEED TO UNLOCK MY PHONE??

Also, everyone seems to be talking about how much the at&t Sims are, but mine was twenty bucks. Have they gone down since this thread started or did I make a shady purchase?
