When I log into my google account using 4Ginternet, my GS5 phone seems to be showing up as LINUX(current user) location dallas, blah blah blah. Any changes I make, for instance I changed my password, and logged out..when I logged back in at a work computerWindows(current user)...the last log was LINUX(changed password) Instead pof GS5 changed password.

Why would it be doing that? When I log into my account from my computer it says windows and "location". Location being where I actually am.
If I log into my google account from a family members phone, it just shows there phone(GS4).

Does your phone have a name? If you haven't given it one, that might be what shows.

no i have not named my phone..i didnt know you could do that.
Also im more curious as to why it says my location is in dallas..because im not...is that just where my internet connection is linking to?

Settings/General/About device/Device name.

Assuming you're in the DFW general area (up north past the airport, down south past Fair Park - anywhere within 20 miles or so of the Metroplex), probably. If you're in Galveston, there's probably a problem.

Yeah im in the DFW area.
I noticed that when i logged into google while my phone was on the house wifi(charter) that its location is in fortworth...so i guess its just how my connection is being routed.
And thanks i might name it now.
