GS9 Oreo (Tmobile) Blank Screen During Calls

Does anyone know how to fix an issue: during calls, my screen goes black and I have to hit the home button to turn on and end calls. Never had this issue with my S8.

Do you have a screen protector on? If so, make sure it isn't blocking the proximity sensor, which is right near the front-facing camera.
