GSIII wont connect to pc

my gs3 won't connect to my laptop so i can transfer my videos or mp3 over.

im using KIES to transfer the stuff over. any help would be greatly appreciated.

you dont need to use Kies to transfer media from your laptop to your device. you can just copy and paste directly

There are multiple ways to transfer videos/mp3 or any file between your phone and computer.

1.) Directly access it through Windows (Plug-in phone > My Computer > "Yourphone")
2.) Connect your phone to your PC and use Kies (if your computer doesn't detect the phone try looking for drivers, or try turning on usb debug mode on your phone)
3.) Connect your phone to your computer through Kies Air and PC Kies program
4.) Connect your phone by Kies Air and your PC with any internet browser
