It's already on your phone and is called "Talk".

I am also having problems with video in google talk. It will call out and 99% of the time it won't even ring through on the other side. But every now and then it will ring through and if the person answers, it will display garbled mess on the screen with their video in the box. Then it will disconnect after a whort period. Everytime i attempt a call it will then kick me out of google talk and take about a minute to reconnect and log me in.

it is so frustrating because it seems most people are unaffected and it works great for them.

i still have had no success in finding any information on the possible cause.

exactly the same issue i have. i noticed the reason it takes awhile to reconnect is that the phone loses the data connection completely (i tried on 4g and 3g).

but if i try on wifi it seems to work fine.

I have been unable to establish a Google talk video chat since the update. My phone shows it is making he call but my wife's phone doesn't show an incoming call. Then I get an error that states the connection was lost.....grrrrrr....any thoughts?

any information on how to fix this? I am shocked as to how little there is out there about this. perhaps my searching skills are just bad, but still looking for answers.
