I figured they would release it right after the BOGO offer for the S7 series ended, but it's been almost a month since Samsung acknowledged the switch to 6.0 and we haven't gotten anything, despite the reports of units shipping with the update. If they don't release it by the end of the week, then we should begin a mass bombardment, since it will have been a month since Samsung bumped the phone up to Marshmallow.

Just checked my software update. OTA Downloading for me 1441.43MB seems like MM.

Now the question is: Should I factory reset after the update to ensure super smooth operation?

EDIT3: upgrading now. oops, I forgot to enable all packages from Package Disabler. I hope everything is ok.

Mine came today. Up and running. I did not factory reset. I think the battery drain is up. I've been on the phone for 2 hours and have 84% left. That seems big to me.

Two things I've noticed, 1. WiFi calling (don't think this was on 5.0) 2. If you activate Power Saving, the notification bar doesn't go away.

I'm curious about the camera improvements, if there are any. Surprisingly, the other S6 variants got RAW format support, which really opens things up for third-party camera apps.

Actually, it is 1441.43! And yes, it is Android 6.01.

Just finished installing on mine. Already better memory usage. Snapper performance all around. Wi-Fi calling. Let's see what the battery does.

Wi-Fi calling and Marshmallow are the only things listed in the changelog on AT&T's website.

Nice! Good things come to those that are patient! My s7 active does not have wifi calling. I have it on my iphone and it is pretty cool!

For future reference, you can go into your settings and manually move your date forward by a day. This will trick the downloader into allowing you to check again. After you download the item, go back and change your date and time to "automatic" and you'll be all set. (Don't forget to do that, or you can get some hilarious results!)
