I really like the fact that our seven month old phone has the latest software.
What other phone has a jb rom? I don't think any atm. GS3, one-x - nope.
EVERY other phone is lame compared to ours.

I'm waiting just a little bit more for some themeing. I don't like the ics blue and gradient backgrounds and stock icons in the status. Went back to M5 (ancient) cos sourcery had too many random reboots for my liking.

I will get there soon. Am I still talking about ice cream sandwich? UGH :/

Need some advice. I put 2.6 on (dirty flash) around mid morning and ever since have been having some radio issues. First my cdma signals weren't coming so i dirty flashed back to 2.5 since i had no issues on that. Since then i'm not able to log into the wifi at my work (which while not the best i alway am able to log into). It constantly telling me obtaining IP address but never actually logging in. It also doesn't show in the notifications bar that wifi is even on. Should I do a full wipe and give that a shot or flash 4.0.4 radios? Thinking a full wipe and re-flash, but wanted some expert advice first.

Shoulda made a thread. I am sure there are more than a few of us waiting on the aosp dance. Like I said above, I want more themeing, but doing a ported rom off a nandroid makes me uneasy. Full aosp should be real soon, like today or tomorrow. Can't wait for the big boys to make some waves.

i agree i will be gone all next week so really wanting some customizations before the on JB going to a work camp with youth in OH so hopfully will get something by then...

clean install - yup.

if you don't have the official 404 radios - those are good also.

Would re flashing GAPPs help? I've read improper or not flashing GAPPs can cause connectivity issues

Those devices will be sweet IF they ever get JB. But I am happy to have this phone...very happy.

If you didn't see it, AC just ran a story earlier today where they (Alex Dobie) picked the GSM version of the Gnex as the best Android Phone you can buy at the moment. I like to think the VZW version fits into that category as well (VZW folks have to wait for the OTA...what?). We will no doubt have full blown JB ROMS any day now it seems. I LOVE the JB ports so far, can't wait to see what the real deal is gonna be like. I haven't even bothered to upgrade from Jelly Belly 2.1, I've been so happy.

To make things even better, I can't use any of my usual network tools right now so I can't tell if it's a local problem or not. Can anyone help explain to me how to install the Jelly Belly Bootloader? I see that its needed for Jelly Belly 2.6 --- in the direction it says to flash it first.

Any magic to this, or just run recovery and flash it? Is it ok to full wipe everything first? then flash the bootloader, jelly belly, Gapps, then franco in one swoop?

Also - do you need to flash the bootloader every time? Sorry for the noob questions - I couldnt find anything in the Guide.
