Perhaps the kernel needed to settle? I just checked again, still quick.

dm, can you try r210?

Perhaps later, I'm enjoying the hell out of the stock kernel right now :).

I think 2def and some others will be flashing it/have already flashed it.

K r210 seems fine to me. Color values may be sticking better, seems smooth. Using ondemand gov and 700min/1300max freq's.

hah
ok, its been 3 minutes.... something must have gone terribly wrong ohhhemmmgeee

Haha damn being timed and I fastbooted it because its quicker :)

Wanted to just make sure it booted nicely and things settled before telling you anything. In general don't be scared, he tests his kernels before release of course, so they'll be stable. If after a few hours you don't like the feel or battery effects or whatever its easy peasy to return to an earlier one :)

Re: [GUIDE][6/29] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

I'm not sure I'll flash it. If it has more features to make it stable, probably. If it's more of their features...no thanks :).

Re: [GUIDE][6/29] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Joined the party :)

Going to replace with the stock kernel shortly once I get things set up

I must admit though, I am so used to AOKP's features that this looks like a completely new device

Smooth as advertised though :)

Some people have hadn't much success with custom kernels. I'd wait for more reviews on r210 before going crazy ;).

Oh no no, I meant I was going to replace franco's kernel with the stock one (I went with Vicious v2)

Thanks for the guide btw, still following line by line religiously :)
