I uninstalled the new notification app, and camera restored, not sure but I will go back and use the widget.

wow playing with Google now, its fun! replied to a text message in voice, will make it so much easier now. got to play around and see all the new goodies it has.

when theres a new release its been said that we can "dirty flash" the next lets say JB 2.0 at this point just flash the ROM? or do we need to wipe any thing.

You should be A OK with just dirty flashing. The dev will let us know if that's not enough...

BTW I tested out the time lapse video recording. Sick. Too bad I was filming like the most boring thing in the world (moms living room). It was still rad.

You should be A OK with just dirty flashing. The dev will let us know if that's not enough...

so just download the latest ROM and reboot/recovery and install the zip file.. seems too easy.

The dev (jakeday) did all the hard work for us. Great guy, to boot.

OK silly question... I was playing with google now asking some stupid question ( what else ) and I got a text so I opened the text and it allowed me to "speak" what I wanted to type. than I tried it again and it will only allow me to type my response now. gotta love new stuff unitl you get to know how to use it.

so with this being a great community (AC) have you ever met any of the devs or kernel programmers? or b/c you are adviser with great knowledge you have become friends with them on line?

I am also guessing the dev have full time jobs and do this as a hobby/fun.

Very weird. I use Swype, so dragon dictation comes in handy .

so i text alot. but i just sent maybe, 25 texts in 15 min and im getting "Messaging is sending alot of messages. Send this message?" every time i send another now. Looked in settings for some kind of message-cap warning or something, but didnt see anything. wth.

never saw this on ics - might not have sent so many rapid fire, so i cant tell if this is jb, or something i never encountered before.

btw dmm, I got rooted the other day, it seems that the files in the links of the mac thread are no good anymore. I had to go out and get the files from different sites. Of course thanks to your help and advice.

Hell yes. I've been using the Swype beta almost exclusively on my phone since it's become available -- ICS and JB. SwiftKey 3 is the keyboard that isn't working right in that it's not allowing for all the personalization options. With SwiftKey 3, whenever I try to log into any service for customization purposes, it won't let me type in any letters.

i dont see any way to turn it off. EVERY SINGLE MSG

it stopped for me after a lull in messaging, I'll try and pay attention and see if it happens after a certain number of messages. So far right now I'm ok though.

FWIW, I had that happen on ICS. Hated it.

found my issue, there is a mic icon when you open the text screen. it works like a charm so far.
