[note]OP has been updated one last time with all the final touches. Now includes: Driver downloads, Superuser download + written directions for using Revolutionary to go along with the YouTube video guide[/note]
Just flash an RUU... its either a software glitch or its the hardware. If a fresh ROM/RUU doesn't clear it up than you know its hardware related and may need a new device.I'm sorry if this has been mentioned in the thread already. I rooted last July with the old auto method before revolutionary came out. My power button is now malfunctioning. Is it best to unroot and return to stock with revolutionary, or should I flash an RUU? I have seen people saying flashing an RUU should work, but I've not seen anyone that has done it. Thanks.
Root without downgrade does not wipe data. Rooting in general does not wipe your data. Rooting the device just gives you root access and superuser permissions. This does not say if the method of rooting without downgrade wipes the device or leaves all data intact. Can anyone who's tried it already answer this for me? thanks!
The link to the superuser zip file isn't working for me. Takes me to a web page that says "The page you requested is NOT AVAILABLE A general error has occurred." Suggestions?
When unrooting, will it put back the default boot animation as well as the 2 stationary screens before the boot animation?
Not really a way to remove revolutionary without usb
