Hello, I'm struggling here. My Nexus 7 died due to not being charged for a couple of weeks, and I followed the advice elsewhere to plug it into the charger, unplug it, plug it in again. Anyhow it's charged now and just won't boot; it sits there with Google in the middle of the screen, for hours.
I installed the sdk and downloaded the images from Google, and I've followed the instructions at the top of this thread, along with minor variations suggested or recommended (different USB ports, different cables, loading the .img files individually) in the course of this thread. Everything comes back "OKAY" but the final reboot just leaves Google on the screen. I've checked that I get the proper response from "fastboot devices" indicating that the Nexus is connected.
Am I missing something fundamental? I'd be very grateful for a bit of someone's expert insight please.
