Thank you so much, I was downloading and trying to figure out he pdanet, I couldn't get it on my phone I stopped it shut everything down, restarted everything hooked everything back up and tried the one click root again and this time it worked???? It looks like I am back to original stock, I will now try to get updates. Will keep you posted. Thank you so much, sorry for putting you through the extra work.

Well I did it last night.. I was having some signal issues and to rule things out I returned to stock GB on my Nexus.

Currently running stock/odex 2.3.7 GB. Custom 1% battery mod, BLN Control, Matr1x v11.5 kernel, SetCPU, Reboot Manager (so I have reboot mod), Shoot Me (screenshot).

Telling ya... I missed old GB. Think I'm gonna hang out here awhile and enjoy....

Yep, its called searching... LOL.. I knew we had a Return to GB thread around, just had to dig it up...

Telling ya though, I am actually liking my setup right now... Its pretty rock solid and snappy thanks to Matr1x.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Wanted to go back to TSM PoolParty with Matrix or franco and see how things go again.

No matter what I do, I cannot escape the LAG I get with the ICS ROMs. With CM9 Euroskank, it's subtle, but it is still there.

May do a nandroid and head back there myself....

I'll assume you did the wipe x3 routine.

Did you use any of the kernel cleaner shells?

Are you sure you had a good download?

I did it myself today.

Loaded up a Pool Party/franco nandroid. Holy Moses is GB so much faster than the ICS ROMs...

I guess in part I was motivated by the fact that my Epic 4G, which I use as a camera media player, was so much faster using GB than was my Nexus on ICS.

Anyway, I started to think of this, and let me know what people think:

GB:ICS::Windows XP:Windows Vista

Maybe Jelly Bean will be Windows 7/8.

Ya I'm loving life on GB right now... I never thought I would enjoy stock/rooted with a kernel and a few root apps to give me what I need that stock doesn't provide.. Battery life is good, runs nice and I get to look at GB green again instead of ICS cyan....

Just changed it late last night... Been having fun taking a dip in the deep end of the pool....

Even sent a text to Dreams and told him I'm back on PP.... He sends his thanks to us... FYI, he said as soon as NS4G gets official ICS he will be on that stuff immediately. I assume Pool Party ICS edition

I may go Motorola next time. I was checking out a colleague's Photon, and it wasn't half bad. Call quality and reception were great.

But then again, Samsung's AMOLED screens are like crack cocaine...

My theme buddy ZiggSevo test drove the Photon for about 2 weeks before he ended up on the NS4G.... Said the radio/signal are awesome, runs nice, great battery but the displays leave a lot to be desired....

I'm thinking SGSIII due to my upgrade falling in October and if the SGSIII does exist and drops on Sprint that should be a good ball park release time or a little before then.... I love my NS4G and I really considered the GNex but lets face it.... By the time it drops its almost 6 month old and I really believe with what the devs have accomplished with CM9 on the Epic 4g and ICS leaks on the SGSII the SGSIII will be a safe choice for future support well into my 2 year renewal....

If I want a GNex that bad I'm sure give it by the holidays and we will be able to scoop one up used for a few hundred and have as a second toy to play with.

OK. I think I'm bricked. I used the method from the link here to xda. It ran through the process, ran all the scripts, etc, then the run screen shut off. The phone is stuck on the black screen with Google on it. Nothing happened for like 10 minutes. There was no warning on the script that it might take several minutes to reboot. So I unplugged to try to turn off the phone and restart it. The only way to power the phone off is a battery pull. Power back up, black screen with white Google, nothing else. Power up again, this time into recovery just for grins, and the recovery screen comes up, but nothing actually happens when you select the recovery option. Help?
