Hand scent

has anybody install and use this...... my friend just got this phone and she tried and security block her messages. While the handscent app locked right but when you go to the native messenger app it didnt lock.... i tried everything under settings and even restarted the phone and still wont work.. any help?? THANKS IN ADVANCE
