I just got an email from ATT that said my device will arrive on June 28th. BUT I just ordered mine this week so take that with a grain of salt.

The phone reps this week all stated June 21st on or before as everyone else is saying. They even got me to upgrade my shipping.

I must have just made the cut off. I ordered on sat morning and got in on the 21st "or before"

I guess we will see. I ordered by today and my email says will be delivered ON June 28th. The local ATT store said they havent had many pre orders but I think we know better than that. I called customer service to ask them and they said they would refund my shipping charge if it isnt here by the 21st!!!!! LOL.

well, i guess at&t love being rude to someone who would like an answer about something that has been preordered because they told me to stop calling even though this is only the second time i have called because the first time the dude told me he doesnt know and hung up on me.
Too bad they have outsourced customer service to a bunch of s halfway around the world!! :banghead:

That's for People ordering today. I Had an online chat with an ATT rep Saturday night. They STILL were saying preorders would START to ship today, based on first order first shipped. Will take a little longer to ship orders placed later.
My preorder clearly stated it was expected to ship June 18th, which is today.
I expect it to ship today, because that's what I was told.

I will not cry if it doesn't ship. Will be disappointed though...

I'll take a 50gb, 2 year deal with Dropbox, as a consolation to not meeting that arrive on date. Why in the world US service providers opted out of a free deal for their customers is beyond me.

The shipping is only free if you buy it online. Which is complete and utter bullsh$$t. I didnt realize this until I just checked the site.

I found this interesting, if you go to ATTs website to order a new S3 as a new customer this is an excerpt of the message you receive.

"Your order is scheduled to ship on or around June 28, 2012. Orders received after 3 p.m. CST will be processed the next business day. All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready to ship."

i just got off the phone with a rep, who i was talking to for over an hour, that they just received the phones today and are beginning on shipping them on a first come first serve basis in order of 1st to last for when orders were placed. could be bs but we wont know till we start getting the tracking numbers! also he said he will call back on thursday to ensure i received my phone!

Yes. You won't lose the space you already have. You simply wont be getting another 50GB

Maybe day 2 will be a better day! Currently its 7:04 am (Eastern) and my preorder is still not shipped! But I did preorder a little later than most.

Sorry guys, but this reminds me so much of the kids when we get in the car to go on a trip. 15 minutes later, its "daddy, are we there yet?" and that question continues every few minutes for the duration of the trip.

So its ONLY the second time you called yesterday? I'm sure there are those in this thread who have called more, for sure, but why is everyone calling repeatedly?

Take a chill pill, folks! Do none of you have a life? My confirmation email says "on or before the 21st" too, but I didn't call them once yesterday. Read this thread once yesterday afternoon, and catching up again this morning. Calling AT&T every half hour will NOT make your phone arrive any faster. I feel for these poor AT&T reps - just like me answering the kids, "no, we're not there yet" over and over and over again.
