Happy Ship Day everyone!! :)

I think this has been the typical pre order cycle. I saw this with the galaxy note which I just went to the store and bought on launch day.

Unfortunatley, att still has not figured out the concept of underpromise and over deliver.

If I still do not have my phone delivered by the time it is in store, I will pick one up at the store and return the pre order. Not mad enough to cancel anything at this point since I suspected some issues... I just wish att was more forthcoming with their info. Silence in this case is not a good thing...

Just went out to Premier to see if my order status had been updated. The site won't even fully render anymore. I tried different browsers as well thinking maybe that could have been the issue but was wrong.


I did call the automated system just to see if it was different and it still says the same thing. My order has been processed and will be shipped shortly. Oh well. Hope it shows up tomorrow. :)
 
Im starting to tire of hearing ups or fedex trucks, because everytime i hear one i get my hopes up that maybe at&t just said screw updating the shipping info get them all shipped.

Im going to ambush the next driver and raid his truck in search of phones!! LOL JK
 
It's a little sad that no one can get any information as to when the phone will actually be shipping or arriving at our door steps (or even the stores). You could call and talk to a million CSR's and get 1 million different replies.

Just really goes to show how little AT&T has their stuff together. Sprint apparently started sending shipping emails out yesterday, and at least a few other carriers have admitted to a delay. ATT is just giving us...nothing. I just called 2 times in a row to check my status.

Call 1: It will be delivered on or before 6/21
Call 2: It will ship on 6/21

Is it really that hard for a call center to get an email from someone in operations stating the actual facts of what they need to tell their customers?

Your website screen actually says the same thing as me...

i've spoken with Chat CSR's who pretty much will string you along.. the best answer you can get is "it will ship as soon as possible"

Wtf? what about the original email i received when I pre ordered it?

I'm going to the dentist today at lunch. I hate the dentist. Would be happier knowing that my S3 were on it's way.
 
That email saying it will be received on 6/28 is because he ordered it on the 18th. Those, including myself, who ordered it earlier were told in their email that it would be received on or before 6/21.
 
Most of you probably know my ID from various forums, and know that I'm a gadgets guy through-and-through...

I'm sitting here in tears simply LMAO at these various post about when and if the Samsung Galaxy S III will be shipped, and hence be delivered to pre-ordered customers by tomorrow...

Mine says backordered, and I'm laughing because I don't want to cry. But, in about 24 hours or so, we'll all know if our S III was shipped, and more importantly, delivered.

At least we can laugh at ourselves, no?

PS: if we don't get our device tomorrow, we could always change the title of this thread to 'Happy, Sh.. ...; well, you get my point :)

I don't see anything wrong with lodging complaints which are very relevant.


now if you're laughing because we all will be getting our gadgets tomorrow in HAND at our doors and this thread becomes a GHOST TOWN?? (i've seen that before) then yes i can see what that would be funny ;) :cool:
 
Guys! People who are seeing/hearing the 28th--thats probably for new orders, and for when they will have enough stock to have them on sale in stores. This means nothing for those of us who preordered on day one. I know there has been no official word yet, but if Tmobile and Sprint are both getting phones out the door for arrival this week, why would AT&T lag behind?

And as far as not having shipping info, I saw a few things above that ring true for me. First, a user previously posted in this thread that they've preordered from AT&T many times, and a few times they never got tracking number or shipping details before the product arrived. Also, given the huge wealth of pre-orders, they may be more focused on getting things out the door instead of updating their website.

I wish we could get an official word from AT&T, like Tmobile and Sprint have done. I wouldnt be surprised if we do hear from them soon enough. And I wouldn't be surprised if the early preorders are still on track for delivery this week. keep your heads up, folks.

That is true about only new orders stating the 28th. All early orders stated the 21st. Even AT&T's website for pre order stated the 21st initially an only just a few days ago did it change to the 28th. Everyone who ordered early and was told they would receive it on or before the 21st should be pissed if they don't get it tomorrow.
 
I've heard the same thing over 4 times now, as recently as 5 minutes ago. AT&T Premier has stated for the past two days that anyone who pre-ordered their S3 after 3PM on June 18th were going to be receiving their phones on June 28th. Until I see a Facebook post, twitter post, or receive an email stating otherwise, I'm going to assume my phone will be here tomorrow when they said it would be.
 
It does seem very messed up that they would hold a launch event the day before the device was supposed to get to us and then delay the arrival. Not good business at all. Maybe I should have held onto my HTC One X and hoped for an update to the firmware. Oh well we are at their mercy now. But it sure is fun reading the comments on this thread. We might need a suicide watch soon.

Well whenever I go to look up my order online it wont load a picture to confirm that I am a real person! Maybe they are changing stuff. Well one can hope!
 
Email from my friendly csr: Correct, were not sure when we will receive them, but all customers with pre-orders will receive them first. Best bet would be to stick with the order, you will probably get yours first before we get them in the store.
