Happy Ship Day everyone!! :)

Seriously, stop it! I've ordered countless phones (BlackBerry, iPhone, etc.) and most times there is one issue or another...

Breathe, count to ten, it will be fine, seriously. Plus, there are real issues in the world.

Well... here we are... 7:40 am and it says backordered..

Ordered on the 15th, White version.

Guess i'm not getting it today.

If 3pm happens and i don't get one, i'm canceling the order/refund, and canceling my ATT Service. I'm merely doing so out of Principle that i've been LIED to and strung around.

People, Poeple......settle, settle! :p Wow the level of hostilaty in this room....over a flipping phone. This reminds me of the Galaxy 2s commercial where all the apple clones are standing in line waiting for the new iPhone, only thier line was civilized! But this is definitely entertaining this morning....LMAO.

All in all I do understand some peoples gripes for sure, I think AT&T should have been more open and upfront with a press release like Sprint did its customers, but in the end I wouldnt blame the carrier. Its Samsung that hyped this phone up so much, then decided to release it to all 4 major US carriers and not have enough supply to satisfy the demand here. In any case, I dont think anyone was lied to or mislead, people just tend to see or hear what they want to see or hear.

In anycase when the dust settles in armagedeon and you get your phones, I think everyone will be happy...so what one more week....eh. Its just a phone that will be out of date in 6 months anyway.. :p

Congrats to all those getting thiers today and good luck for the ones who have to wait a week.

(Luckily for me, mine's on its way.....peace!!)

lmao please let people come here and rant! if not here then where? its your choice to read this forum... if you dont like it please find the red X up in the corner and click that please! ;)

My store opened 15m ago but I haven't been able to get anyone to answer...

EDIT: Tried a 2nd corporate store near me and the girl who picked up said no, hasn't been launched yet, you can preorder.

I called mine on Melbourne FL and the guy said it had not been released yet.

The most aggravating thing is that there is no communication from at&t.... att.com still is running the preorder page gor the sg3... Ordered mine the 15th thru premier and still on backorder.... waiting for a call from at&t to see if they will waive the upgrade fee.... The wait begins.

I also ordered on the 15th (White) and its still on processing. IT has not changed sense the pre order! Haha. Only thing that pisses me off is I had to wait for the preorder cause they messed up my upgrade status when I returned the HOX...Took hours to get it reversed. I guess there system doesn't change it back when you return the phone. Otherwise a simple email letting me know that it is in fact not going to here soon is really all that I ask for. I guess its a bigger issue then I had thought. I am willing to wait. My point is the customers should be informed is all.

So I am waiting for the phone and its the biggest release for me this year! Like many others I am sure. Plus ATT loves these rants. It lets them know that we love them and hate them all at the same time! (Figure of speech!)

BUT at the same time I am glad others got there's shipped. My problem is not there problem. So I look forward to reading there posts tonight while I wait for mine to come!

So no rant from me! Unless its this time next week then it might be different but I doubt it!

Got through to the original store - the girl said "not yet - it should have been last week but nothing yet" lol

AT&T's official statement, hot off the press. (Erm, from my inbox.)

Manufacturer supply constraints of the 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy S III have caused a delay to expected pre-order shipments. Customers who were previously quoted a delivery date of June 21st should now expect their device to arrive no later than Monday, June 25th. We currently estimate future pre-orders to arrive within 10 business days based on available supply. Impacted customers will receive both an SMS and email notifying them of this change.

I already did, but I'll try to be patient with you. ;)

Go to Dictionary.com | Find the Meanings and Definitions of Words at Dictionary.com and look up the definition of EXPECTED. Now look up the definition of PROMISED and also of GUARANTEED. Now, go back and look at the language you quoted. Pretty simple, really! :D

(FWIW, I ordered on the 13th, and mine isn't showing shipped either. Its just that I choose to be an adult about it and not go off the deep end.)

And I'm betting you won't REALLY end up cancelling your AT&T service over this - since you're not going to walk into any competitor today and get an S3 either!

EXACTLY! A few of these people must be real joys to be around! LOL

Hey, iphonemilk, I'm betting there's a reason why you and I have almost identical post counts here, but my "Likes" and "Thanks" are quite a bit more than yours. Try doing something OTHER than ranting, raving, whining and moaning! :D

Wait.. I wasn't under the impression we are making posts here to receive Likes and thanks? and you're still bringing up "being an adult" after mentioning something like that?

HILARIOUS

I wouldn't have a problem with this if they just came clean about a mishap. This is why I think this whole thing is a little ridiculous:

-On June 19th, Premier was updated that any pre-orders made after 3PM on June 18th would not be shipped by the 21st and instead would be shipped by the 28th. Several reps confirmed this and some of you even got emails. What that tells me is that at one point on the 18th or 19th, they realized they weren't going to have the stock available to ship everyone's out by the 21st as they got more pre-orders than they expected. After crunching some numbers, they figured out that they could ship all orders placed before that particular 3PM deadline on the 18th and everyone else who ordered after would have to wait. Makes sense.

Interestingly enough, one of our members is getting his phone today and he ordered on the 18th at 9PM. Also interesting is that several of us that ordered before that particular deadline are still not getting our phones when one would have to assume they have the stock as they clearly were able to discern what date/time to use as a cut-off point.

-There's been zero communication about any issues with the pre-orders. Sprint has been upfront with their customers this whole time.

-Some of you have pointed out that the initial email we got said "expected" and not "guaranteed". Fair enough. I have to point out, however, that the emails and confirmations through Premier citing that any orders before 3PM on the 18th -would- be shipped left little up to interpretation. I was told twice verbally I'd have my phone today.

Is it helping to sit here and 'whine' about all this? Not particularly, but for those that are upset about this situation, their beef is justified. At&t hasn't handled this very well at all and people have a right to be upset. Me? I'd love to have my phone today, but it's not the end of the world. I'm just not fond of making plans to have something, having those plans confirmed a day ahead of time, only to have it backed out on me with no real explanation. I think we'd all feel the same way.

I ordered my phone in store on the 19th. I know i shouldnt be receiving a phone today..but I hope I do.

Coming from an iPhone with a concrete release date the similarities are still there, People who ordered before arent getting the tracking numbers..but people who ordered after are. Nothing changes just the phone type. I check my order status every fifteen minutes hoping for a change. MUST DEVELOP PATIENCE
