Android Central Question
My note 3 suddenly died while it was plugged in and I was using it. I did a screen/digitizer change and a battery change and neither helped. Every time I attempt to charge the phone, the area of the power IC builds up more and more heat, to the point that I end up taking the power cord out of the phone after one minute because the heat at the power IC was too much and nothing was happening and I'm scared there will be an explosion or something.
Is the only way to fix the phone a power IC replacement? Is the issue something else?
