Hey guys, I recently got the courage to try flashing another rom onto my optimus v, and I followed all the directions (backup, flash recovery, etc), and successfully got it to work ^^.

Everything works great, until I tru to play any kind of android market games (angry birds, fruit ninja, and the like), they play for like a minute, freeze the phone, then reboots. Now, everything else works fine, music, youtube video, and I even watched 20+ minute episodes of the twilight zone on the TV.com app, multi tasking like playing music while on the web works fine too. I am overclocked (748/320 No-Frills CPU Control), and it's really not that much of a problem because for Gameboid works fine on here (pokemon ftw ^^), I just wanted to know if there was anything up with anything. The Harmonia 1.7 rom runs flawless btw so thanks to the creators ^^.

Try using your camera - if this causes the phone to reboot, then you are over-clocked too high. When I was using Harmonia, I could not OC higher than 729 w/o random re-boots. The camera tends to cause the re-boot sooner than anything when you have gone too far with the OC.

opening gallery will cause a crash pretty quick too if OC is too high.

OC is most likely too high.
As your phone ages, you may get less and less overclock as well.

Hmmm, I turned it down to 725 and just put it on performance mode. I'm testing it, no crashes so far. Yea I got this phone like 3 months ago. So are random crashes a part of flashing roms? Or is it just the phones fault? Lol

Thanks guys, I think it was the OC, lowered it and played like 20 levels of angry birds, no lag, no crashing ^^.
