Has anybody reset their Note edge and find a difference in battery life?

Has anyone out there who tried factory reset on their note edge and noticed an improvement in terms of battery life and performance? Mine is running on Lollipop 5.0.1 and the battery life is just average and the phone is little bit slacky . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

it can help if you have lots of apps installed. The ones that I notice that always drain phones faster are Facebook and Instagram. I would suggest that you use your web browser for those if possible.

I did format my Samsung Note Edge into Factory Setting, and found the problem not only with the battery but it too hot even it can burn skin and the second it has now malfunctioned to auto start and off for that neither I could use it not finds the store I saved in it.? incase of any experts are there then please advice me.
