A Zune? Really? I've heard of those. Can you...can you post a picture of it? It'd be kinda like looking waaaaaaay back in time.

Back in 2006 it was the original 30G model. (I still have and use it)


Then later on I moved up to the Zune HD!!!

However, I don't understand why they have to leave the bottom and top edges open, naked, azz-out exposed. Grumble, grumble. I've seen various cases like that and TBH it drives me nuts. I...don't...want...the...phone...blemished. Leaving the top and bottom edges exposed seems, to me, counter to that goal.

I purposely have not used my Note 3 yet because I know I will drop it. Since it is on my company's line, I will be required to reimburse them the cost of the phone. Needless to say, I am waiting for my case from Amazon to come in the mail.

OMG, how can you stand it!?! I have some bubble wrap I can send you.....
Actually, I went to a really cheap store around here called 5 below. Bought a little foam case and put my 3 in that until my better case arrived. And I'm ALWAYS very careful, my Note 1 was like new, because *I* have to reimburse ME.

That's funny ! I bought a cheap $5 case and screen protector on Amazon before the Note3 arrived.
I installed it in the At&t store at time of purchase. My Note3 was never without a case/screen protector.

I have Ghost Glass and a Spigen Neo Hybrid on it now ... :-$

I left my N3 on top of my car with a Spigen Ultrafit on. It stayed on my car until i stopped fairly hard for a yellow/red light. It flew and tumbled to the center of the intersection. The screen shattered but the case did pretty well at protecting the back of the phone. I had JUMP! on T-Mo, and had a replacement in my hands 2 days later. $175.00 deductible really stung. I hate paying for **** twice. Could have been worse though.

Does anyone have insurance on their Note 3? Even when I owned iPhones, I never had Apple Care. Is it worth it for me to get insurance at this point? I still have time left from AT&T to do so.

P.S. seeing that I'm not the only one who has accidentally dropped their Note 3, I feel much better about my situation

With the cost of phones increasing all the time...it just makes sense to have the insurance...IMO.

My husband and I have had insurance forever, so ours is still very affordable through Verizon/Assurant.

Yes.
Yesterday just happened to see a nice thin black TPU case for $19.99 at Verizon and decided to use it instead of my super thin hard shell case that didn't cover top/bottom very well.

So, climbing into my Truck with Note 3 in my hand it hit my hip and went flying to the ground....I could hear a nice soft bounce sound due to the TPU and it survived...no marks on my phone.

I'll be sticking with the TPU.
