Has anyone dropped their Note 3 yet?

OMG, how can you stand it!?! I have some bubble wrap I can send you.....
Actually, I went to a really cheap store around here called 5 below. Bought a little foam case and put my 3 in that until my better case arrived. And I'm ALWAYS very careful, my Note 1 was like new, because *I* have to reimburse ME.

I can't stand it, but I know that it is a necessary evil. I am always on the go with work, so I decided to play it safe. However, when I get home I will play with the Note 3, as I love WatchON. My case should be in today, I ordered a leather flip cover from Amazon. I am having second thoughts about the case, I am considering the Seidio Surface and the Otterbox Defender as well. I have a Defender on my HTC One, since day one, and it looks brand new when I take it out of the case.

A Zune? Really? I've heard of those. Can you...can you post a picture of it? It'd be kinda like looking waaaaaaay back in time.

Big coincidence, this morning I grabbed my old Zune to bring it to work hoping somebody had a charger for it. I want to get the music that I have on it and put it on my note..

I had the 120 and the 80... I sold the 120 when the Zune thing was going down. Here is the picture of the 80 and the 120 Zune in protective cases.. I have the 80 with me now..

Does anyone have insurance on their Note 3? Even when I owned iPhones, I never had Apple Care. Is it worth it for me to get insurance at this point? I still have time left from AT&T to do so.

P.S. seeing that I'm not the only one who has accidentally dropped their Note 3, I feel much better about my situation :P

I am with TMobile, and their insurance is $8 a month. With that, they told me if something happens, lost, stolen, big time damage, I have to come with a $175 deductable. I have never owned a phone that is worth this much, and never had insurance..But, for the Note 3, and what they cost, I have the insurance. Just my two cents. However, if you are rich like a lot of posters around here, I wouldn't even worry about it.. :D

For 2 dollars more you could have went with JUMP!

Zunes, where are the Zunes....... OH I was too busy ogling the display stand!!! Cool, VERY cool!

Been debating getting an s view case, will probably order a cheaper case from Amazon until the Otterbox gets released.

I guess while the phone is pocketable, it's not as flush in the pocket as an iPhone, or my GS3.(And no I don't wear skinny jeans).

I'd just use a cheap ipod for the gym.. small, and cheap and no worries if you break it. A gym is not a good place for a large phone. At least you didn't crack your screen.

As of a few weeks ago I had one of the square touch screen iPod nanos that clipped on. However it went through the washer, and decided it doesn't want to work any longer. :'(

I might go ahead, and get Insurance while I still can. I used my S3 as a music player since day one, and never had a problem. However, the Note 3 just seems to be the opposite of gym friendly.

That's how I do it. Zune HD in the gym, LG G2 stays in the car. Less distractions and zero chance of smashing the phone.

Boo on JUMP. I buy and own my phones! :).

I use to be like that, but resale on TMO phones is terrible now thanks to phone financing and how easy it is to rip people off on TMO phones. I got my 2 note 3's at 0 down. Tax was 59.00 each. Then I pay 29.00 a month plus 2.00 dollars a month for jump. that's 245.00 at the 6 month mark for 1 phone which I'm positive I will be tired of this phone by then. Right now in my city, note 3 on CL can be had for 550 in box. I will guess I can pick one up for 400 in 6 months after the s5 and Nexus 5 are live. That makes jump a good deal if youre sure about upgrading at the 6 month mark and you receive 0 down at time of purchase.

That's just from my perspective though. Some people like to keep their phones for a longer time or have different circumstances.

Buying a phone outright and financing with no interest cost the buyer the same amount. 708.00 plus tax from tmo.

Phone plus tax = 767.00 - 245 = 522.00. I won't get 522.00 in 6 months for my note 3 on tmobile. Maybe on Verizon.

Wifes birthday yesterday, me and grandson make a cake as I was putting it into the oven phone in shirt pocket, you guessed it phone plops into cake batter. s-view case and all, quick scramble to uncake phone clean out charging and earphone ports and all is well. soft landing, beter than hot burner down below cake pan.

LOL! I want to see a picture of that phone in 6 months ;) Good Luck :)

Cheers, Jon

No and I don't plan too. LOL

I also don't have a case, just a screen protector.

thats my plan too.

Still, nobody planed to drop their phone, its always accident.
My devices have pretty much told me how they feel. They won't power on when I leave the house unless they feel secure in a case. I understand. I wouldn't want to leave the house naked either.
