Has anyone got "link to windows" to work?

I was trying to find the app (Link to Windows) on my phone but to no avail. Play store showed that it was installed so I uninstalled it with the intention of reinstalling it. Now, the Play Store describes the app but there is no active link for installing. I'm at a loss.

It's in the pull down quick panel.

1. I like the windows link app but it is limited. It is clean and simple to use so I like that. But you can only transfer pics right now. I like being able to read and reply to texts.

2. Side Sync looked promising. I downloaded it to my PC. Unfortunately, when I tried to download to my phone it didn't work. Said my phone was not compatible.

3. So I downloaded Samsung Flow. While similar to windows link it looks to be a lot more comprehensive. Haven't explored it too much because its really draggy and slow to respond. But overall I think it will work to share files. But if I'm not doing that I'll just stick to Windows Link.

I was able to download sidesync with no issue a few days ago from the play store, but I see it's no longer coming up in the search. You might can find an APK file if you search the internet.

Well, I was surprised yesterday when I logged onto my Windows laptop and started receiving text messages onto my laptop screen! So I guess the Your Phone app now works. But seriously, what's the point of receiving/sending text messages via my laptop? I'd rather have my phone for that function.

Is there anything else the Your Phone app can do? (besides synching pictures, which I don't find useful).

It will be able to make/receive calls later this fall.

It is built into OS. It is under Advanced Features, link to windows. Can toggle on/off.

Well for now, I'm underwhelmed. But I will keep the app installed on my phone in hopes for glory to come later.

Yeah it didn't come up in the search in the play store. I tried to download it from Samsung (followed a link there). I'll try to look for an apk file and see what I come up with. Samsung Flow is not that good so far but I like being able to wirelessly share files.

This is same version as on my phone... Also it does show as one of the icons from notification panel that you can turn on/off. https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/micro...phone-companion-microsoft-apps-3-6-0-release/

If nothing else, Link to Windows lets me send texts from my PC which is always something that I've wanted to do. Will look forward to additional enhancements.

It's called "Your Phone" in the MSFT store

Why are you not sold on either one what are you looking for?

Not sold on Samsung Flow because it's slow and drags. And it won't let me save videos. I can open them but not save them.

Side sync won't let me drag and drop videos. And its too hard to find them as files. The little window doesn't expand so its hard to see what I'm doing.
