Has anyone gotten the sideloading update yet?

I called ATT to fix me not being able to send or receive MMS messages and they were no help. On the bright side, apparently since I bought my Inspire early on it still came with a 3G sim card, she set me up to go change it to a 4G Simcard, what exactly will this do if anything? Will it increase my speeds at all? (oh and by the way she thought this was fix the MMS problem haha)

I got the 4G sim card a while back. There was a poster claiming it would give you increased speeds, but I showed no change using the speedtest app.

This got me curious, so I pulled out my sim to see if it's a 4G or not. How can you tell? All my old 3G cards said 3G on it plain as day. Only thing on this one is the AT&T logo and a serial number. That's it.

the 3g one said 3g on both sides and the new 4g one does not haha I havent taken it out to look at it again..but i took a peak when the ATT guy put it in

I got the 4G sim today and before (on the 3G sim) I was getting around 3kbps download and 1.5 Up...I tested it today and i reached up to 6.0kbps and the up was still around 1.8. So I was pleasantly surprised still disappointed about no MMS tho

I did get mine before the HSUPA update. Made no difference pre-update, but maybe it does make a difference post-update. I was and am getting aroung 5.2 meg down and 1.2 meg up.

There is another solution: You can call and ask for the push to your phone.

So.. My Inspire got the update, but my wifes' did not and I have both phones sitting right in front of me. Kinda weird, but luckily I really don't care to use it on my wifes phone.
