Today I updated my skype app and it downloaded 7MB where it used to be something around 21MB. Same thing with Whatsapp. Has there been some revolution in the app industry I haven't heard of?
Has anyone noticed android apps(Skype, Whatsapp, Nova Launcher...) are shrinking in size?

Hi - it would depend on the update, if it's minor and bug fixes then the update is going to be small in size
