Has anyone tried ENCRYPTING their Note 3's?

Hey. I have a global Note 3 on 5.0, and reading the media frenzy over phone encryption, I wondered. How'd Old Faithful here fare if Encryption (BOTH Device and SD card) were enabled? (Mainly battery worries.)

Has anyone tried it and what's that like over the easily hackable mode?

I wouldn't think there would be any issues. I know with some phones there was a performance hit when you encrypt. Best thing to do is give it a try and see how the phone runs with it encrypted and see if it is to your standards.

I am not 100% sure about that, I have never tried. You should have an option to decrypt the data, it should pop up a warning before it starts.
