Has "extract text" been disabled?

I was able to capture a screen with stylus and extract text until sometime in January 2022. Recently I realized the same capturing feature only allowed to pin/insert, no extract text anymore.
Anyone knows if the latest Android updates made it that way?

I'm the one questioned it, just signed up now. Thanks for your attention. The device is Galaxy Tab7+. Restarting the device didn't make any difference and I don't find any setting to put the function back so far.

After you capture your text, click the T at the bottom. A popup will come up saying it's extracted.
