Mine arrived on the 7th in the evening, at least thats when I checked. I have been checking frequently since last week when the news broke that it was coming.

I posted in the Verizon Nougat update thread that it arrived one day after the update. Makes me wonder if if was a coincidence...

I got it on my Axon 7...128gb with 6gb ram version... Iam happy... Works just like cortana..soo coming from Lumia 950 Iam happy... Just dunno if location thing works... When I say remind when I leave home... Google Now dint have that feature

AT&T user received the Google Assistant update sometime this morning. Haven't had time to mess with it yet though

Finally got Assistant as well this morning. Wasn't notified of any new update but just long pressed home button. T-Mobile user in Seattle, WA
