have google pixel xl have personal google account with personal contacts

i would like to add a company google account with contacts and be able to switch accounts and have separate contact lists is this doable

You have a couple options.

Create a separate user on the phone for the company email and have JUST that email set up in that account. You won't get notifications from the profile you're not using at the time.

Just log in to the account in the existing user profile on the device. If the work account is Google-based when you open the Contacts app, you can slide in the menu from the left and select the account you want to view.
