Have i hit a wall?

So i want to have more apps on my phone. (actually right now just one app. but its a bit too big. Even after tossing stuff away i dont use)

Problem is that my app storage is full. My phone storage on the other hand has about 20gigs of free space unused and ripe for taking. So why in the rings of Saturn can't i just install more apps?





Anyone got a sledgehammer to break this wall?

Could be that the space is used by Android itself (system applications etc).
