Thanks for the reply. Is it normal for it to stay that high? I've only recently switched to Android from an iPhone, and this is my first tablet of any kind. My Note 3 has the option to "Clear RAM" which I'm sure is the same as the "End All" on the Tab S. It just seems like it makes a much more significant difference when I do that on my Note 3. I've read the higher RAM usage is due to the screen resolution of the Tab S. Any truth to that?

Where are you finding that number?

I don't think screen resolution has a lot to do with RAM usage, it's more to do with Samsung's pre-installed bloatware which you can disable (or most of it) at any time, but I wouldn't worry about the usage too much as Android apparently is now much better at managing RAM, you can read more about it in the "Note 4 RAM Discussion" where it explains it in more detail. It was necessary at one time to have "Clear RAM" option on earlier Android devices, but from what I read it does it by itself now. I've been using Tab S for about 6 months and haven't had a problem with running out of RAM, it will close unused apps if need be to make more available. Hope this helps.

I was looking elsewhere as I wrote above. And actually, in the Settings/General/Storage - you can clean the cache by tapping the Cache item. I just recovered a small amount.

And it's time for me to clean up Internal Memory (files, if not apps) and even my very crowded SD card.

Actually clearing cache in storage will not make a huge difference. What I do with mine every now and then is wipe the cache partition by going into recovery mode. That does make a lot of difference performance wise. See here.

Thanks for that info. That was a good read. Some good facts in there for a person new to Android to know. I never thought about it being beneficial to just leave programs in the RAM. I'll try to quit worrying about it so much now.

I have the Samsung Book Cover on my Tab S 10.5 and I'm thinking of purchasing the official Samsung Bluetooth keyboard. Does anyone know if the Tab S will still stand up in the groove of the keyboard with the Book Cover on? Thanks in advance.

As far as I know the keyboard is also designed as another cover for the Tab. From what I've seen the groove is wide enough just for the Tab and nothing else. But you never know you may be able to squeeze it in with another cover attached.

That's kind of what I was afraid of. The book cover is pretty thin so I thought I'd ask. I might still try it. I haven't seen another keyboard I'm too interested in. And I'd don't use one enough to make it be my case, like the Logitech folios, which are pretty nice. My wife has one on a Tab 4, but it just felt too heavy and bulky for me to put one on mine.

I am the proud owner of A Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5,but struggling to get to grips with it!
I am advanced in years so my questions are likely to be very basic!

I tried to install Norton Security yesterday but got a message saying 'OOps it seems as if cookies are disabled' and seemingly I have to enable them. Now I can do this on my PC running Windows but on this android I stumble around and have not found out how to do it yet.
Could you be kind enough to help a Senior Citizen please? Grateful thanks

Which app is giving you that message? If it's a stock browser or another app then you can enable cookies in the settings of that app.

I usually disable apps I don't use or unlikely to use in settings, unfortunately some pre-installed ones can't be disabled. Other than that I am very happy with it.

Does anyone know how to upload video into Hshow? I created a Powerpoint video and uploaded it to dropbox with the video that I wanted to insert into one of the slides. When I open up Hshow the slides are there but I cant seem to upload the video that I want to be inserted into one of the slides. The Powerpoint presentation and video show up when I log into my Dropbox, but when I go into Hshow the video doesnt show up. When I go into Hshow and click Insert on the slide that I want to the vid to show I cant get the video to upload into the Gallery so I can insert it into the slide...??? Anyone can help.

Trying to learn to copy and paste with my Tab S....sometimes when I copy and then paste a website addr to a yahoo email in the body of the email letter it will not be in blue so my recipient will not be able to click on the link to open it......other times it works ok.....what gives here? This is just a guess but, after you paste the link, make sure you hit the enter/return key on the keyboard such that the cursor moves down to the line below the link you just pasted.
