Read those tiny specs on the charger. It probably will work but if less output than the one that came with the Tab S, it might take longer to charge. And depending on the usage, it might lose power while charging.

I am using my Motorola Rapid Charger I got with my Droid Turbo, and have no problems charging.

I just got vzw galaxy s tab 10.5, I installed a cleaner that deleted the high res nature video sample that was on tab when I bought it. Anyone know where I can get the video from? Please help, video helped me decide to buy the tab. Video was incredibly beautiful

I just looked over all the videos on my Tab S and don't see anything that jumps out. I wonder where it is stored for how to get access to it?

I seriously don't recall it - was this it:

Hmmm. I just 'CHATTED' with Samsung. The suggestion was that it is the ScreenSaver app. It has images of cutting very colorful veggies, the Tab being rotated, caviar, etc. I don't recall if that it the video or not. There is a screen saver app icon. Tap it, ENABLE it and then TEST it.

Unfortunately that wasn't it. There is no people in it. I can not find screensaver to enable. Where do I go in settings?

I may have downloaded it but don't see where. The icon shows in this screen shot - 3rd row, last icon

Just got the Tab S 10.5 (laptop died last week - trying to survive on a tablet alone!). This video is in the videos folder by default. I disabled my ScreenSaver app and it disappeared - maybe this is the why you are not seeing it? Could've been accidentally disabled.

I like the display on this thing a lot! I have a few questions/concerns I'd like to bring up to the more experienced owners..

1.) What's you preferred way of sending local videos to TV? HDMI Cable? I have ChromeCast, but the new screenCast feature is not supported for the Tab S 10.5 yet :(

2.) I just ordered a bluetooth mouse and keyboard - I was assuming a majority of BT devices will work? Is there a maximum # of BT devices?

3.) I don't game a ton, so I don't see performance issues, but it'd be nice to know that these 8 cores actually work properly. I do have an N64 emulator and Mario Kart 64 (I'm planning to use a USB hub into the OTG connector so I can connect my old school game pads). I wanted to ScreenCast to the TV as well; maybe I'm hoping for too much!

I'd love to hear about cool features, accessories, mods, etc. :D

1: I recently purchased a Samsung Smart TV and I can "screen mirror" so no cables at all. Very nice wireless method. But I did also purchase the official Samsung hdmi adapter/converter to use on another TV and potentially while traveling. It was not cheap but....

2: I got the Logitech BT keyboard/case for it. Seems nice and just this week purchased the S Action BT mouse by Samsung. It has a few features to open and react with the tablet.

3: Not a gamer either. But I have an OTG connector and was able to hook up a thumb drive. Also used it to connect my Canon camera and the Tab immediately opened an app or choice of apps to move/copy photos to the tablet from its card.

All in all, a nice tablet but my first Android device and I'm still adjusting.

Cool, it's my first tablet as well. Deciding if I should keep it. A smart tv would be great indeed, pretty expensive though. I'll post about the accessories I ordered when they arrive.

I saw the micro usb to hdmi fairly cheap on eBay, and it was the Samsung version, but then I can't use the otg port for the controllers.I'm wondering if I connect a 4 port hub to thutoe if I can find a normal usb tousb hdmi..seems doubtful.

My next concern is when we will see lollipop!

This is my second tablet, the first is/was a Blackberry Playbook and my phone is a BB Z10, but their interface does not rely on the buttons but bezel swipes and touch. I'm not sure that it can deal with a hub but it's an interesting idea.

I don't know about OS updates but I've seen threads on the subject. The TV preceded the Tab S but that made the Tab S a bit more alluring. :)

Is there any update to the dodgy exynos processor issue?

I don't really want to have to fork out even more for the lte version when I'm planning on relying on wifi etc.

What about chrome? I read that it is very laggy on the tab s 10.5. Is that still the case?

I have the 10.5 32GB version.
How do you display the apps alphabetically?

I *THINK* (I don't want to change the order so did not follow through), Press the 3 Vertical Dots in the upper right. Select View Type and there's a choice of

Customizable Grid or Alphabetical grid. I am guessing that will do it. I recall playing with someone's tab a year or so ago and was aghast that I could not reorder the apps - stuck in Alpha order. I guess they have addressed that limitation (oh, she wanted them reordered, too.)

I lied - you can reorganize the apps:
1. open the apps drawer
2. Tap the three-dot menu
3. Choose "view type"
4. There it is!
Thanks for the help!
