Have you gotten used to the aspect ratio?

I feel like the S8+ was not as big as it seems. Watching videos in landscape mode didn't feel right, screen looks smaller than a standard 5.7 inch. Are you used to the size yet?

In 5 minutes of using it, huge difference from my previous phones, S7 edge, Pixel XL and iPhone 7 plus.

Definitely takes time to get used the aspect. Sometimes, too much of the video gets cropped out. It's a hit or miss experience.

I know what you mean, OP (at least I think so) I have a Huawei Mate 9 (5.9" screen) and when I heard this was a 6.2", I couldn't help myself. Now, the SIde bevels on the Huawei are barely there, the top and bottom bezels are 3/8" and 1/2" (respectively). When the S8+ arrived I thought at first they had sent the S8. It's about 1/4" narrower than my Mate and about the same length. I really like having a HUGE phone, so I was a little disappointed it wasn't outrageous. Smaller screen ratio.

This is my boyfriend's phone when the Note 8 comes out anyway, so I'm happy. Hopefully the Note 8 will be ridic.

For me it's only annoying on social media. Videos that are posted to snap chat or Instagram stories will have parts cut off.

I got used to it as soon as I got this phone. I love watching videos and playing games on this screen more than I did on the S7E

Love it, especially while using chrome or my preferred reddit app which supports the aspect ratio.
