Thanks, this is way over my head. I guess I don't have it but I wouldn't know what to do with it if I did. I'm still trying to figure out what I've gained by doing the sideload, nothing seems different so far.

If you install nova launcher u can have those transparent, notification and navigation bars. Other than that I'm just looking to performance improvements

Not a stupid question but rather a very good one. However, my question is are we sure it is even rolling out? I have read many threads over several forums and I haven't seen any one claim to get KK via OTA.

Just be glad you aren't on Blackberry in the states. The European market already has the latest update and the American carriers aren't slated to get the update until sometime in winter, which could be February 2014.

The only thing I miss from my move from Apple is the updates, everyone gets it at the same time. Oh well

Although I did NOT receive the OTA, I did sideloaded Kit Kat...

I did this 2 days ago (Monday)...

Yesterday, the news came out about the small update to Kit Kat....

My Nexus 7 (2012) did receive that OTA last night..
